hi there, i will try and keep this short, my love of tattoos started in daves tattoos riddings r.i.p where i instantly fell in love with the secret mysterious world of tattooing. iv had good and bad experiences all of the latter being good. im a few months into a apprenticeship that will last a few years with a guy who most of you will already know, Terry Stafford from bodycraft in Nottingham. iv already said hi to paul via myspace and facebook but to the rest of you hello.

Hello ladies and gentlemen

My name is Christian and I have a couple of small extremly poor tattooes and am getting my first tattoo (proper) on May 4th.

Looking forward to it and lots of plans for more art to be added.

Some of my favourite artists I like at the moment is Steve Byrne, Jeff Rassier, all the artists at Jayne Doe.

I have waited since I was 17 to get off my ar** and get something done. I’m 32 now…..............

Anyway that enough from me. Hope you have a wicked rest of the week.

Hi,

Im Sharpy and I like tattoos, motorbikes and music! I’ve been tattooed six times but only have 4 tattoos due to one being covered up and another made bigger! My first tattoo was done in Sydney, Australia in the red light distrit by some crazy guy who was a martial arts nut and who’s name I cant remember! Then I had another done in Dunfermline, Scotland and some more work done in Rosyth, again I cant remember names! Then when I moved back down south Big Pete Slade at Physical Graffitti extended one of my tattoos and Nico at Vogel tattoos in Gosport covered up one of my earlier bits with an awesome dragon!!

Still thinking of what I should get done next so watch this space!

work experience and apprenticeships

Hi there

I am 27 years old, living in London. I actually have not had any work done yet on myself, but have been fascinated by body art since living in the US (Berkeley, CA).

I am back in London, and have worked in unrelated professions (I needed the money).

I am finally in a position, where I feel I can commit myself to getting an unpaid work experience (or even an apprenticeship - but as I have limited drawing experience, and do not even have a portfolio I’ll take what I can until I can get an idea of what I can do to develop myself).

I am willing to work as hard as needed to learn all I can. I am conscientious, professional and courteous, and want to do this more than anything.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice provided.

Hey, My name is Stephanie Kemp and i am 19, 20 on March 10th and i was wondering if there is any shop anywhere in the UK that needs a Recpetionist, someone to set up the artists stations, clean the shop, get things for the tattoo artists and learn to tattoo on the side, i am who you need!

i am very hard working and it is my dream to become a tattoo artist, i have my own kit, lightbox etc all the essentials, but would love to start off watching and booking customers in, making phone calls and just learn so much from the artists. But if it isnt in the South West (where i live now) i may need to be paid just enough to afford somewhere to live�unless i can sleep in the shop <3 haha

I am up for moving anywhere in the UK as nothing is keeping me in Devon, there are NO opportunities around here which sucks, as i have been searching for over a year :(

Hi, always bin interested in Tatts, Me & my mates were some of the first customers for Derek Campbell, when he used to Tattoo out of his shed in Hayes.

Getting old now, 45, but another Hayes mate has moved up this way, & is Tattooing by appointment only, Rob Chalcraft, so I’ll Be getting some more done no doubt.
