Looking for apprenticeship - willing to travel, kind, resourceful and creative - small collection of work now up

> I’ve been looking for an apprenticeship for quite some time, and am willing to go the lengths to achieve my goal, and work from the bottom doing whatever it takes.
> I live in the midlands, but I’m prepared to move around because this is my passion and my aspiration. I am determined, and hardworking, and will go the length to fufill my duties. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, and mainly my speciality is linework, and shading in traditional art. I’m quite good with abstract work, and I’m creative when it comes to ideas. I work great with people, and I know that alot of tattoo art comes with meaning, and memory for lots of things, and I can empathise and work with all sorts of people, helping them decide on a design. The idea of trying different styles, different types of art, different genres and so in, appeals so much to me. And the idea of helping people place a memory on their bodies is not only fulfilling but great because of the beauty of the actual art.
> I apologise for going on a little too much, I have a portfolio with a range of drawings, and is constantly growing. But there are also books with college work, and other designs I have done. I am willing to do more and more drawings to prove my ability, and I am willing to go the lengths to prove myself. I would happily travel or scan the drawings to show you my ability.
> Thanks for your time.
> Tom.
>
>
> Since I last posted this, I have taken some photos of my work, there are more to come, thank you for your time.
Any advice will be well apreciated.

Hi,
I’m Steph from Manchester. I am looking for a Tattooing Apprenticeship. I can draw (I have a portfolio of art work and images). I don’t want to be paid, I just want to learn. I will do anything you need me to do, clean the place, make tea, answer the phone, anything. at all. I will travel to anywhere in the Manchester area by public transport.

I am punctual with great people skills and telephone manner. I can handle money, have customer service skills and am a fast learner and hard worker who can work on my own initiative.

I love tattoos (I have 5 myself, soon to be 6 and want to add to them) and have always wanted to be a tattoo artist. I will work very hard to learn the trade. I am also interested in learning in the customer service side of the shop as well.

Please let me know if you are interested, I will not disappoint.

Steph

Receptionist/set up artists stations/cleans/learns to tattoo on the side wanting a job

Hey, My name is Stephanie Kemp and i am 19, 20 on March 10th and i was wondering if there is any shop anywhere in the UK that needs a Recpetionist, someone to set up the artists stations, clean the shop, get things for the tattoo artists and learn to tattoo on the side, i am who you need!

i am very hard working and it is my dream to become a tattoo artist, i have my own kit, lightbox etc all the essentials, but would love to start off watching and booking customers in, making phone calls and just learn so much from the artists. But if it isnt in the South West (where i live now) i may need to be paid just enough to afford somewhere to live…unless i can sleep in the shop <3 haha

I am up for moving anywhere in the UK as nothing is keeping me in Devon, there are NO opportunities around here which sucks, as i have been searching for over a year :(

If any owner of a shop or artist that knows they need someone like me then please email me
The_Devils_Slave at hotmail dot co dot uk Please excuse the address…had it since i was 14!!lol

If you want to see that im not a fake i have a myspace and facebook. http://www.myspace.com/pooper_x_scooper

So please get back to me if you are interested as i am very keen and would be my dream in life to work in a tattoo shop
I want to learn in a clean safe environment. I’m currently living in Leeds but am more than willing to relocate. Please get in touch with me if you know of anyone who is looking for an apprentice. No matter where in the UK. It really would be more than appreciated. Chantelle.

ok here’s the situation I’m a qualified artist, went to art college, i’ve done fine art, illustration, CAD, photography, did my HND and but found it difficult to find work around my area, I moved out when i was 17 and financed a move away to find work and got a job spraying cars , and then moved into airbrushing, after a while i got a bit homesick and moved back and have been working as a signwriter for the past 5 years but do spend alot of time drawing and painting, I have a huge love for tattoo’s and have quite a few and have considered trying to find an apprenticeship before but commitments and personal issues meant it just wasn’t realistic, but now i’m 27 and i’m wondering is it too late to try to find an apprenticeship and is it financially viable as obviously being 27 I have rent and bills to pay and whatnot, I know most of you are professional artists and would think you’d be my best source of information on this subject.
